In our line of work we would search for design needed or website needed...you get the picture. Then, simply scroll through the entries and follow up as necessary. Be aware of multiple postings that are most likely scams. Also, many of these listings will be case sensitive or geo sensitive. Happy tweeting!

5040 greenwood obama neighbor maximumedia design blog real estate...but we helped sell President Obama's neighbor's home in Chicago, recently. Our studio designed the online and print campaign as well as developed press items for release to the public and media. Through our efforts with the Matt Garrison Group, we were able to help their team establish a comprehensive media strategy that ultimately sold this high profile real estate property for $1.4 million.

We don't normally sell homes, but we do design media strategies!

1. Be friendly - sounds easy, but you would be surprised how businesses sometimes appear reckless in their quickly typed posts

2. Think of online interactions as sales signs on the front of your business

3. Think about how often you place promos and don't just randomly post - plan to post around holidays or other community events

4. Post print coupons that can be brought in for discounts

5. Make people believe that you really care by engaging or following up on your online interactions

6. Post tips or ask questions from time to time - "Does your car make a tapping noise?" Get your customers to think about what you can do for them.

7. Always link to your website and leave your business number so people can pick up and call immediately!

8. Post specials on Mondays - coming into the business week, people are looking for business oriented contacts and ways to be more successful

9. Leave friendly/more personal posts on Fridays - moving out of the week, people are ready to have fun, spend time with family, just relax!

10. Don't post more than twice a week, if that. People will and do block you!

billboard design campaign outdoor maximumedia design lafayette

"Go Big or Go Home" is what we say at Maximumedia. Sometimes you just have to; especially when you are talking about billboard design. Any outdoor campaign needs to maximize size to be effective. You have roughly 8 seconds to communicate with what remains a driving or riding populace. So, we wanted to play with an emotional message that rewards our audience with a bit of humor. Emulating the fear-inducing "buckle up" campaigns of our day, the idea was to use the "behold" as a way to "reveal" what we do. So, by leveraging emotion, the audience feels more powerfully our brand.

Effective billboard design must incorporate large text, strong imagery and easy to recognize branding and contact information. We would typically have put the brand across the top due to lighting and scaffold areas at the bottom of billboard sites. But, we didn't want to be all blingy, so...

Take a picture of our newest campaign if you happen to see it! We'll be hanging around town for quite a while!

BONUS: We were made aware that photography in the mall is not allowed...by "mall security" on a Segueway no less. Here's your moment of Zen.

Thanks to Chris Voglund for the photo. Did you know he is an electrical contractor in Indiana? If you don't, you should. Maximumedia uses his services exclusively!
